Offering a new standard of service

Pillar Brokerage was established to address a genuine gap in the market. 

This gap meant businesses, their directors and their management teams were losing out due to a lack of flexibility and sub-standard service from traditional insurance brokers.

The issue lay in how the insurance brokerage market was segmented between ‘local’ and ‘corporate’ brokers.

Traditionally, local brokers only offer homogenous-style insurance with little to no advice.

Whereas, corporate brokers had a greater focus on multinational clients providing advice from different internal divisions.

For businesses with complex risks, this meant there was no option to seek specialist advice while dealing with a single-point-of-contact that had a holistic view of their operations.

Our unique approach means businesses can now access expert tailored advice from a single source that wholeheartedly understands them.

He’s worked with a number of global brokerages, including as a Lloyd’s of London broker in the UK. Will was named SA/NT Insurance Broker of the Year in 2024 by the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia.

Her career spans several decades, during which she has held diverse roles in general insurance broking.
